STATUS: The road has been closed due to fallen trees and power lines from the hail, wind and rain weather event. Scotts Bluff Monument visitors were taken to the basement for a tornado warning. Things got a bit tense. The Pony has had to backtrack, so mapping features will be skewed for a while. A detour should take the Pony to the Wyoming border, hopefully to get going in the Cowboy State on time. As they did in 1860, we are adapting to the current conditions.
