The annual Pony Express Re-Ride is scheduled to begin on June 15th, covering nearly 2,000 miles in honor of American history. The journey starts at the Patee House Museum, a National Historic Landmark that was once the headquarters of the Central Overland California & Pikes Peak Express Co. Pony Express rider Penny Orrick of Easton, Missouri, is among those participating in the relay.
