Each year, the Pony Express holds a re-ride in which members of the National Pony Express, Nevada Division ride night and day in an exchange change across the west.
Last year, the re-ride began in St. Joseph Missouri. This year, the ride will reverse, beginning in Old Town Sacramento and head east through.
The ride lasts ten days through June, conceding with the full moon, with riders continuing 24 hours a day in the relay until the mail is delivered.
