STATUS: The Pony reached Rye Patch Canyon, elevation 6040' at 12:59 PDT.

STATUS: The Pony has crossed the peak of the Simpson Park Mountains, elevation 7585' at 11:40 am PDT. They are just south of Eagle Butte, estimated to be about 15 miles due east of Austin, as the crow flies. Running late, maybe 2-2.5 hours is current guesstimation.

STATUS: At 8:30 am PDT, the mail arrived at Grubbs Well, NV, running approximately 2.5 hours behind schedule.
