The first ride of the year went off without a hitch. I was escorted in by our color guard, Cindy, Susan and Billy carried the flags with pride. My wonder mare Bonita, who has carried me on 14 of the last 16 years, pranced in with great form. I was sworn in, the mochilla was placed by Jim, I mounted up and was ready to ride.
