There is something timeless in the sound of a horse’s hooves on the Wyoming prairie, the heat of the sun beating on a dusty rider as she crests a hill.

While men may have penned the history of the West into books and letters, those stories stem from miles of hoof prints and the sweat of ponies that carried riders back safely from their missions. And so it seems fitting that the history be remembered similarly now, with both horse and man.
