This was the last picture I took of our ride last night 6/18/19. This was the final mile of our section (Railroad Pass to Cold Springs Station, NV). That is my brother, Alex Jares on his horse Jet leading Breezy with our grandfather’s saddle. This was our tribute to our grandfather who passed away shortly after last year’s re-ride. We delivered the mail to our dad to finish the ride/section. Our grandpa was the Ride Captain of this section until his son (our dad Doug) took it over. This was our dad’s 29th re-ride and my brother Alex and my 17th re-ride. Happy trails to all.
