Attached is a photo of myself on the left and my cousin Françoise Crispin from Houston. Photo taken at Simpson Springs while waiting for the Pony. We were two of the 9 adventurous riders of Utah’s Team 2 that got the mail from Simpson Springs to Ibapah. No photos of us riding because it was generally dark! I was proud to be a part of a small but intrepid team that worked together to get the job done. The remote west desert of Utah is always fun to ride, it has changed little since 1860-61 and you really can imagine cowboys and Indians as you gallop along! Go Pony!
